Audities was a print magazine, website, and mailing list started by Gary Littleton and Anthony Henderson dedicated to lesser known “Insanely Great Pop”. It was active and quite popular for several years until it had to shut it down due to mercury poisoning affecting Gary’s health.

Michael Coxe, who ran the mailing list, continued to administer it after the print magazine stopped, and has continued to run it all these years. In fact 2006 is the 10th anniversary of the Audities Discussion List, which you can join at http://audities.googlepages.com

This Audities website is a wiki (means fast in Hawaiian), which is website software that allows users to freely create and edit Web page content using any Web browser.

Wiki supports hyperlinks and has a simple text syntax for creating new pages and crosslinks between internal pages on the fly. That means you can and are encouraged to edit and create pages on here. First register on the site by clicking ‘login’ at page top, get a user account, then you can edit and improve any page. All prior changes are kept so be bold and edit something. Write an entry in the pop encyclopedia about some cool obscure pop band or related person we should know about!
